Statement of Belief
Our relationship with, interpretation and practice of our spirituality is personal and derived from the Law of Reciprocity and the Golden Rule.
Gregory & Katrina Lowrey
Mission Statement
Our mission is to help people develop their personal and spiritual potential and relationship with that energy or being they consider God or their spiritual source.
And
Learn how to be a good neighbor locally and globally
Based on living in accord with the Golden Rule and the Law of Reciprocity.
And
To combat evils done in the guise of spirituality and freedom.
The Golden Rule says that “as ye would that your neighbor should do unto you, do ye so even unto them” or more simply “treat other people as you would be treated.”
The Law of Reciprocity is also known as the Law of Karma or as Jesus said, “even as ye sow, so shall ye reap” or more commonly “what goes around, comes around”.
Sin:
Our concept of sin is the situation we find ourselves in when we place any man, object or influence between ourself & our “GOD - god”, spiritual source or connection, individuality, potentiality, goal or purpose. Sin is any action or thought that impedes or erodes your sense of personal or spiritual progress, achievement or attainment. A person can then only “sin” against him/herself and can remedy their situation at will by a change in attitude and behavior. There is no religion that has a “god” so weak as to be able to be “sinned against” by mere humans!
You do not have to “believe in Jesus” to Believe Jesus.
The “Golden Rule” really works. (but only if you work it)
Believe Jesus!
looking forward for more information about this. thanks for sharing. Eugene
Thanks Eugene,
Really, that’s it.
The rest is training yourself to view each experience, each interaction in your life through that lens.
And learning to trust and respect yourself and others.
There are a million ways, a million lessons, a continual flow of actions or interactions in every person’s life that illustrate or give opportunity to employ the “golden rule” and the Law of Reciprocity.
Here’s something to consider.
You cannot give what you have not got.
Consider how that applies to all your individual interactions with others and especially with yourself.
If you love yourself, you cannot hate the world.
If you love yourself, you love the world.
If you hate yourself, you hate the world.
You can claim to love, but it’s impossible.
We are a world of amazing creatures.
Taught to hate ourselves, and by extension, each other.
By various peoples who would deny for us,
while claiming for themselves
(unless they decide to grant it to us)
a connection to our most personal, spiritual self
and the energy that governs it.
(which you may call by any name you want - it doesn’t change what it is/does)
You cannot give what you do not have.
If you do not love yourself,
you cannot love others.
If you are not honest with yourself,
you cannot be honest with others.
If you are not sincere with yourself…
You cannot be sincere with others.
If you do not trust yourself,
others will not trust you. (long)
And you will never really, truly trust another.
You will never know what it feels like.
Freedom.
Peace.
Trusting yourself, that is.
And all that comes after.
But only after.
